We Have A Winner!
Yes, I let this go on for an extra day or so, but I was having so much
fun reading your guesses.
The Winner of the One-Word Error Prize is Jackie R, who correctly
guessed the shocking truth from page
228 of “A Million Miles In A Thousand Years.”
It wasn’t sweat. It was snot.
I tried so hard to hold it in, but gravity had the final say. And even
though it’s been twenty-eight years since the actual occurrence, just
writing this makes my gag reflex kick in.
Jackie, your prize is a very stylish, very rare “Blue Like Jazz” movie
t-shirt. 100% cotton. 100% snot-free.

sweet read i’ve read 3 xs, will be a great movie for the world and the rest of us, no clones or clone wannabes allowed…
Where are the freaking T-shirts! Sheeesh.
I want a t-shirt!
I ordered both books yesterday. Oughtta be here by next week.
Hope all’s well with you. Give my love to D. Taylor and the little one.
I’ll be in Freaking afghanistan by the time this thing gets moving…cmon Cats. Where’s the ball caps? I want 2 for christmas.
Snot-free! Wow!
There are t-shirts?? Where can we buy them! We must have t-shirts! Come on! Let us be walking advertisements! Of course, Alex would probably get a Blue Like Jazz tattoo across his forehead if he thought it would help.
Congrats Jackie!
Hey Donald…. Another error in the book was ‘inderstand’ instead of ‘understand’….. unless i didn’t inderstand your untension.
I agree. T-shirts are a must! Please?
So whats the status of the movie? is coming out already? if its still filming i kind of want to be an extra.
Steve, what about the typo on pg 197? The last sentence on the page incorrectly spells the work ‘undertand’. Do I get a prize??
Got the book on Friday, can’t put it down. Thanks for all of it…
Eeewwwwww!!!!!
Just finished reading the book, though. It’s wonderful!
Okay, and let me be annoying and add that the character in Casablanca is Ilsa, not Isla. I expected more from you guys… Just kidding ha the book is fantastic and I can’t wait for the movie to come out!
Oh, and my mom just reminded me that in one place Don writes weary instead of wary…which reminds me of why I stopped letting her read my high school papers.
Just finished the book – it’s great! I also found a typo: page 245 “honsetly”
Any more t-shirts? lol
